I left DC in 2003 and miss El Chalan very much. When I was working nearby, I would have lunch there at least 2 to 3 times per week. After much searching, I have found a similar place in S California which is almost as good, but not quite. That's Inka Grill in Temecula. I still miss El Chalan. Those guys are doing a great job there.+

The Choros and Ceviche are to die for! I dream about eating at el Chalan if I don't go at least once a month. The hot peanut suace also kicks some serious ass.
