Honestly, I never really liked The Town Tavern, but one night my girl and I were starving so we popped in. We were blown away by the awesome bartender, Tristen - he's a gem! He's friendly, smart, and used to work for CPD. Such a pleasant surprise, we'll definitely be back to hang with our new favorite bartender!

Worst experience ever. The girls working were only interested in the attn. of the couple of regulars that were giving them attention. The regulars that are there we're looking for a fight. When we asked what our shot was made with (we had already ordered one shot and it was clear. When we ordered a second shot exactly the same as the first, it was red. When we asked what the difference was, the staff was extremely defensive) one server told us the ingredients, another told us different ingredients. I asked if there was consistency at the bar with shots and they were so rude and said no, everyone makes shots they way they want.
Fast forward 15 minutes, a regular overheard our conversation about the shots came down and asked us about our drinking habits. My wife responded cordially trying to keep the peace. It was clear to us this guy had been talking with the bartenders and was trying to start a fight but again, we were trying to keep the peace. This guy was not giving up. He went on and on insulting us repeatedly trying to get us to engage and during all of it, the bartenders were Snapchatting us and LAUGHING!!! Like it was FUNNY their customers were dealing t with this!!!! Then the guy tried to start a physical fight with us!!!
The staff here was NOT Social
Distancing, no masks worn by them and they DID NOT require any customers wear them. It was shocking the whole ordeal TBH.
Spend your time and money on businesses that care about our society and our community. This place is clearly being run by children that think it's funny to ignore social distancing and respecting customers that aren't regulars.
