Walking into Hamburger Station is like stepping back in time, with the aroma of Extra Tasty sliders filling the air. The Miss Pacman machine hums in the corner, a reminder of simpler days. Every visit to this Akron staple brings back memories of college and the joy of indulging in their delicious sliders and crispy onion rings.

You go to Hamburger Station because you want Hamburger Station, pretty simple and you'd stop going because they might charge 10 cents for water, now that's funny.

I ordered two burgers and a glass of water and was told I would be charged ten cents for the water. I eat at different Hamburger Stations all the time, but cannot do caffeinated or sweet drinks in the evenings. If this is a new policy, then consider me a used-to-be good customer.

I realize that this place is not a 5 star restaurant, but I have been eating here over the last 30 years and it just keeps getting worse. I think they have switched to cheaper ingredients because the last gyro I got, the meat tasted like spiced cardboard. It used to be MUCH better. That was my last trip to that grease pit. To take questionable food and make it absolutely inedible takes a special talent. Kudos.
