I brought a group of 9 people to the Flying Harpoon's first location looking for a place to eat. Upon arriving, the host informed us that it would be a long wait (about 2 hours) because of how little seating they had at that location. The host suggested we go to their second establishment since it is about twice the size. Upon arriving there, we were told that the wait was still about 2 hours. We were put on their waiting list and returned about an hour and a half later and asked about how much longer the wait would be. We were told that it would not be much longer. Not more than 10 minutes later, we ran into the host who told us that they had tried to call 30 minutes ago and had since given our table away. Despite confirming my number with the host, we were only told that we could be added to the end of the waiting list which was another hour and a half... we decided to take out business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. We decided to go to Flora-Bama where we were seated immediately and served a wonderful meal.
