The food at George's restaurant is consistently delicious, even during busy times. Their Lemon Lush, Cheese Balls, and Chocolate Lush are must-tries. Located just 20 minutes from Alexander City, this family-owned establishment offers a warm atmosphere, friendly service, and homemade desserts like the amazing Lemon Meringue pie. Even though the service may be a bit slow at times, the outstanding and fresh food, such as the Half Fish Plate and Trio App, make it well worth the wait. I always leave satisfied with leftovers and a smile on my face after dining at George's.

Excellent catfish; burgers; blue plates. Fried pickles are awesome. And the staff is friendly, attentive. And don't forget the homemade desserts.

I LOVE this restaurant! Great home cooking! They have catered my Thanksgiving dinners every year for the last 15+ years! It's now a family tradition to ride up to Newsite Wed. before Thanksgiving to pick up all of our side dishes for our Thanksgiving feast. The atmosphere in the dining room is so comfortable and charming. We try to get up there for a lunch or a cruise in with the corvette club anytime we can. You are going to love this food!

The food is fantastic. My parents love to eat there and look forward to going there. The food is great, the service is tops and it is a family place to take the whole family.

Their Catfish strips and chicken wings are the best... actually everything served here is the best around!
