Delicious Sushi in Dothan, Alabama is hands down the best spot for a celebration dinner! The chef puts on a show for the kids that will have you entertained the whole time. The prices may be a bit steep and the wait a bit long, but trust me, it's worth it for the mouthwatering sushi rolls and the amazing chef experience.

Staff was exceptional.
However - you are paying for the show at the Hibachi grill. I was not pleased about my table. Apparently the people next to me didn't seem obligated to keep their food to their area. So I had drink rings, wandering food, and napkins... Shoved into my area. Which was rude. I noticed people eat rudely. Like it's a pig trough... And stare at people who are unlike themselves for whatever reason: make a list.
Dirty... Is another good word to use. ...because I wasn't pleased that I was being charged 30.00 for a show with food and drink rings from my neighbor and they seemed fine with it. Like it's natural. Lights so dim I can't read the menu. I had to get out a flashlight.... Not a magnifying glass.
...it needs a good scrub.

I was so anxious and excited to get to Mikata tonight (2-13-20) to celebrate my birthday, but my excited turned into a disaster. I ordered the teriyaki steak dinner. The food was the worst I have had since I started going here years ago. NOTHING was season not even the soup. I have never had this experience before until tonight. I am not sure who cooked the food, but he needs to stop cooking and take classes on how to season food. I am so disappointed being that this use to be my favorite restaurant until tonight.
