The fried shrimp at this restaurant were absolutely delicious - big, juicy, and perfectly breaded. The lunch also came with a baked potato and coleslaw, making it a satisfying meal. While the ambiance may not be much to write home about, the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. My husband always goes for the liver and onions, but I can never resist the shrimp whenever we visit Daleville - and we'll definitely be back soon.

The Best seafood place to eat at in the south east of Alabama you will find that is all in one that to eat there to the people that work their also the most to all and the warmth of all is the family feeling you get that is when you walk in there to get you some of there GOOD FOOD and people that work there and to the owners of it until you leave is awesome plz if you have not eat there plz check in and eat there it's is the the best to you will find around to eat there and the warmth atmosphere you get until get Thur eatting ,.I will go back every day to eat there if I could afford to !! Thanks To every one at Mclins seafood restaurant in Daleville,Al

All the fat cats from post praise this place. The interior is awkward with small hallways and low ceilings and plenty of cigarette smoke. I don't know if state law has changed the smoking policy. I ordered chicken. That's what I got, a deep fried breaded half chicken on a plate. It was alot to choke down by itself. Today is another fat cat function I'm going to, and I'll order a steak this time. I'll update this later.

I had a ribeye steak with fries. A salad and a yeast dinner roll came with it, which were both very good. The server came out and told me they ran out of Italian dressing, and offered a raspberry vinigarette, (which was more to my liking anyway). The steak and fries were also very good (as expected). The cut was right. It had a little fat as is natural, making it moist enough to eat without steak sauce, but A-1 was provided which I accepted. I noticed there was at least one person who had the chicken, which I wouldn't recommend, unless you are prepared for a lot of meat and little to help it go down besides your drink. The fish and sea food items seemed go over well. If catfish is your thing, you will love it; if not, there should be enough variety to choose from. I can see why most people give McLin's five stars. I wouldn't take my European in-laws there without first explaining it to them. Sweet and unsweet tea was on the table, which I didn't try, but a friend said neither seemed sweet. The cigarette smoke has been long gone since my original experience, (thank the Lord!). If you prefer Southern fare, you will be in hog heaven here.

I cannot wait to visit Mclins this weekend while in town! Hopefully I will get there in time for dinner - I know there is usually a wait, but well WORTH it! Soon, I will bring my fiance' down and let him try Mclins. He will be hooked!

The place may not be fancy; but they know how to make Great Seafood! When I come home to Enterprise for a visit, I always make a trip over to McLin's. The Shrimp, Fried Blue Crab Claws, Catfish and Onion Rings are all fantastic. I'm happy to say that I will be there tommorrow!

Great food! Superb service! Our meal was served in a very reasonable amount of time, waitress was attentive to our needs. We love this place. If you're looking for a romantic atmosphere, this place is not it. If you want great food, it's well worth the drive. We've never been disappointed.
