Great place to eat. Haven't been there since pandemic but can't wait until we all can start eating the buffet again. If ever?

This restaurant is NOT for the chicken-finger-eating, bland americanized-food-liking patron. The food at Toi's is authentic "country style" cuisine cooked by Toi herself.
We arrived at Toi's (which doesn't look like much on the outside) on a Thursday evening for the "cook to order" menu. I dislike buffets anywhere so we waited for Thursday night.
The menu is small but fantastic. We were warmly greeted (double warm because there was no a/c but there were plenty of fans and it was comfortable).
The lemonade was delicious! I'm not sure if they do anything different to it but it has a slightly different flavor than what I'm used to. But it was SO good. We each had a glass and then later we were served an additional pitcher with dinner.
We ordered the curry chicken patties as an appetizer but were sad to find out they have been discontinued from the menu. Instead we had the recommended spring rolls which were served with a sweet dipping sauce. Delicious, hot and perfectly cooked.
As our main dishes, we ordered the Moo Wan, Moo Manow and chicken Paad Tai.
Moo Wan was a delicious pork dish that was stir fried in a sweet (but not too sweet) glaze until the texture on the outside was just the slightest bit crunchy. -Fantastic!
Moo Manow was sliced pork cooked ina clear spicy thai chili-lime dressing along with some small slices of cabbage. This dish had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming.
Both dishes were served with a large bowl of sweet white rice. (delicious)
The chicken Paad Tai was also excellent, loaded with chicken which you don't always find at some of the larger restaurants.
The portions were large and we ended up taking about 3/4 of it home with us. (the leftovers were just as good the next day)
The service was prompt but we never felt rushed. After dinner, Toi herself came to the table to greet us and see if we enjoyed the meals. Like her dishes, Toi is very warm and sweet, making two displaced Yankees from Massachusetts feel very welcome.
We had a wonderful meal and wonderful conversation with the staff.
Toi's Touch of Tai is truly a diamond in the rough!

Yep I love the spring rolls, those aren't spicy at all. It's great with the corn syrup-vinegar type of sauce that comes with it. When I was there I got the honey glazed pork cuts it's yummy. I'm going there tonight and I will be ordering the spicy canton-style veggie noodle and of course more spring rolls!

I couldn't disagree more with Levi's review. I love the food and the service. With regard to "spicy" the only truly spicy dish is a salad on the "American" side of the buffet. The rest is quite flavorful, which Levi may have confused with "spicy".
Great food, great service, great price. Try it for yourself!

One of the worst restaurant experiences of Thai food I have ever had. They call it a buffet and only have 10 items in which 5 are spicy. What you pay and what you get are not what you deserve. I wont even begin to mention how bad the food is..Military take your hard earned pay somewhere else.
