Dixie Catfish has been a long-standing favorite of mine, with its well-maintained and cozy atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious, from the fried options to the juicy burgers. The service is always friendly and prompt, making it a reliable spot for a satisfying meal.

Dixie Catfish is the THE BEST CATFISH RESTAURANT in the Atmore area. The food is just perfect...fresh catfish fried perfectly and just delicious. Fabulous caked and desserts, great cole slaw and the best sweet tea in Atmore! We go once a week and the service is always good! The former Mayor of Atmore is carrying out a POLITICAL VENDETTA against the owners, so that review must be disregarded.

I find the food and service excellent here!!! Best catfish in town. PoBoys are delicious and a great price.They cook to order and the CAKES are delicious. I personally don't like the country decor, but most restaurants here have that, so I usually order to go.

As a former mayor of Atmore, I have been to most of the restaurants in town on a variety of occassions. I recently had my worse experience in a local establishment. I have found that the food and service at Dixie Catfish Restaurant is not comparable to what you will recieve elsewhere in Atmore. If you are new to the area there are two good options for dining out. Either go downtown or drive to I-65, AL 21 intersection. Both have a variety of fantastic local cuisine. I would not recommend this restaurant for either the quality or the service. It does not represent the town that I have come to call home for many, many years.
