My husband and I stopped in on our way back home from the beach. I had the River Burger and he had the Shrimp Po Boy. I'm a sucker for a good cheeseburger and I can honestly say this one was up in my top 3! It was huge, just the right amount of meat and cooked perfectly. My hubby loved his Shrimp Po Boy and it was ginormous! Both meals came with fries, Swamp Soup and a small piece of homemade chocolate cake. The Swamp Soup was fantastic! We will definitely have to drive back down just to eat!

As we were leaving, someone next to us ordered the catfish plate. It looked like enough food to feed an army! I can't wait to try other menu items. The person who gave this place a bad review must not appreciate southern eating/cooking. The prices were even very reasonable. I don't know how they serve that much food for the price!

This place is awesome, just a little local dive ... but the food is amazing. Had the Swamp Burger and It was HUGE. Cooked to order best burger I have had in a Long time and the complimentary swamp soup and Fresh Lemon cake for desert. What really made this experience wonderful was the staff. Such great people can't wait to go back

My husband and I have a summer home on Fish River. We eat at the Fish River Grill whenever we are there. We love the food and the owners.

I have lived down the street from this place for about 6 years. I avoided it and thought it an eyesore. Boy, have I been missing a good thing. I had a burger there last summer when I had little time and needed a place to eat close by. I had the River Burger and not only was it the best burger I have ever had, it was a fun experience. I have only had the catfish since then because it is the only place to get it when you have to have it! I am addicted! Lots of food and reasonably priced.

BEST FOOD I EVER HAD AND WHOAAA ALOT OF IT!!!! This joint may be a little dive but I can honestly say I have never had better food anywhere! A group of us from church went, all ordering different things from Great fried catfish, Swamp burger, fantastic Reuben, Best fried shrimp I ever ate, etc... not only was it FRESH and COOKED then when ordered, it was alot complimentary Swamp soup, side of smoked baked beans and ice cream!! The staff was so friendly I felt like I was part of the family! We all gave a 5 star rating! I read the previous rating of a 1...this is funny! It must be someone in competition with these folks! I heard about this place from everybody and glad I finally went! This is now my husband's and myself favorite eatery!!!! *****

The worst food i have ever put in my mouth! I stumbled upon this place and wish i would have never made the decision to go there. if i never see the people who run that place again, i will lose no sleep. STEAR CLEAR!!! I am telling you, it's not worth a penny of your time or tastebuds!

Unbelievable! Stopped in during a storm and had the best food around. Started not to go in but very glad we did. Catfish is the best I've had in some time. Folks there are top notch. It really is a dive - had to wade in during the rain but don't let anything stop you from trying the food.

THIS IS SOME OF THE VERY BEST COOKING AROUND! YOU MUST TRY A SWAMP BURGER! SWAMP SOUP (delicious) AND DESSERT (usually an ice cream sundae or fresh tropical fruit dish) IS FREE WHEN YOU DINE IN! THIS PLACE IS A "DIVE" WITH THE BEST BURGERS, GREAT BBQ BEANS, GATOR PO'BOY, ALABAMA CHICKEN MELT, REDNECK REUBEN! IT'S ALL GOOD! THE FLOOR IS PEA GRAVEL!! NO JOKE! ITS LIKE EATING OUTSIDE ON PATIO, OR IN THE ROAD haha! EXCEPT ITS ENCLOSED SO YOU HAVE A/C IN SUMMER AND HEAT IN WEATHER. BLUE RIBBON!
