The food and service at Cotton's were exceptional. I enjoyed the stuffed chicken and shrimp plate while my dad savored the seafood platter. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked for my mom, and the view of the ocean added to the wonderful dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find Cotton's still thriving and not too crowded on a Thursday night. The variety and quality of dishes, along with the attentive service from Morgan, made our visit memorable. We look forward to returning to this Gulf Shores gem.

Worse server and food ever. Don't waste your $$$ here. Go to the casino. You'll have a better chance at winning the jackpot. Asked for a mild Bloody Mary, came out super spicy. Order ribeye med rare. Came out over cooked. After asked 3 x for real butter. The so called butter was seasoned margarine. Tasted like pure water. Mgr was awesome! Table next to us. Also very disappointed!! Emailed the restaurant. No reply. Never agin

My family came in twice twenty minutes before close. In my experience that can be either the worst time to come to any restaurant but not here and whats astonishing about that is I had ten family members joining me. All fried food and it was so good we came back the next night and it was just as good as before. We will be coming back for those shrimp!

I don't like giving reviews. The fact I'm 55 and this is my second ought to tell you something. But Cottons was that bad for the money.
Maybe it's because every restaurant before Cottons was really good that this place was disappointing. Service a little slow, not that big a deal.
Drinks: Long Island Iced Tea tasted like sweet & sour mix with ice. Didn't complain. Asked for a shot of tequila that I wanted to add to it. It came back watered down bad, guessing it was neat? Didn't drink the Long Island. Waitress never asked as to why it was never drank. I do believe the bartender was overwhelmed but not really an excuse for expensive drinks.
Ribeye with lots of fat. Not unusual but definitely not great quality for the price.
12u kid didn't eat his hamburger. Raw in the middle and he said it didn't taste right.
Asked for extra sour cream with the meal and cocktail sauce. Got neither.
Wife did enjoy crab claws.
Then got a nearly $10 charge for using our AmEx?
For $256.00 (without the tip) for 2 adults and 2 kids I would have expected a little more. We've spent that much the 3 nights we've been here and up till now have been very satisfied.
There are too many other places besides Cottons to spend you money I'm sorry to say.

We went to eat there last night and the price of the steak was ridiculous. It wasn't worth 42.00 at all. It had so much fat on it.

WORSE RESTAURANT EVER!!! The positive reviews were obviously written by the owners! Ugh! The fried shrimp could not hold a candle to the CHEAPEST fast food shrimp! Had to climb 3 flights of stairs, not food for elderly people or those with bad knees. The waitress tried to pass canola oil off for drawn butter--FAIL! Save your money, time and tips and go to Capt D's or something similar. This 'southern' restaurant did not even offer hush puppies. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Its is amazing! Their steaks are like heaven in your mouth, though, our last meal there was 300$ for 6 people but its soooo worth it!

Been numerous times, food is exceptional (filet) and fried shrimp. Never had a problem and staff very pleasant!

Multiple family members became extremely ill after dinning here 7/24/2020. We called the next day to share our experience and the response was, food poisoning will not occur for 10 to 14 hours post dinner, Have a safe trip home. Will never go back !!!

My husband had the Seafood Platter and he said it didn't blow his mind away and I had the petite fillet mignon and it was good. The service was terrible and that is what makes or breaks a restaurant for me.
