I have dined at City View Diner before and was once again impressed by the experience. Our server, Stephanie, provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The food arrived promptly, prepared as requested and served piping hot. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided at this establishment.

Went there again to celebrate our anniversary of when we first started dating this was our 46th year asked our waitress if she could substitute another vegetable instead of the soup and salad bar that would have came with my entrée she told me no. So that was there loss I got a less expensive meal and will be our last anniversary dinner there one unhappy customer

Excellent service.We are vegetarian. SALAD bar is excellent.Soup is not included.But our wonderful waiter in formed us that their delicious French Onoion soup is plant based.Dont use beef broth.
Love this place. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THEY BRING BACK THEIR VEGGIE BURGER!!
SALAD bar alone is worth the trip.Our twins twins took us our to eat there.For their Dads 64 birthday.
Can't wait to go back!!

I just received inexplicable that the diner fired our favorite waitress - Jessica. We have had many waitresses over the years but few have been as good as two of them. First was Robin, who left for different employment and now Jessica. Management claims she wasn’t taking care of her customers and wasting too much time, but have found her an amazingly hard worker with a great smile and pleasant personality. Obviously this is a managerial error and we encourage them to correct it.

Food was perfect! But completely wrong order, completely wrong number of orders. Nothing was done to correct. Zero accountability. Wait staff is the worst in the country. They seem like drug addicts or homeless personnel in current recovery, but still in denial. Theyre not very motivated.
But the cook? = THE BEST! PAY THE COOKS $50+/HR, FIRE all the waiters. Fire the fat old guys that sit by the register all day/night. And get a new "team player" culture. Where everyone jumps to help, and verify the service. Then raise the prices. Raise the staff, raise the standard.

The only thing good about was the coffee. The scrambled didn't even taste like eggs and the fried potatoes were burned.

poor service, i ordered a salad, and waited 45 minutes to get it while my partner had a soup and salad bar while waiting for his entree. I told the waitress she could have asked me if I wanted my salad and she said :yeah, I could have, so I said but you didn't. the girl (and she looked like 17) at the register told me that there was no manager on that night and that she was sorry but a steak takes a while to cook. It was a chopped burger, I said that my partner ordered. And alerted her before that that two other tables came in after us, ordering spaghetti and another full entree. And she told me not to start with her. really? We spend a lot time at that diner, which is besides the point, but at least we expected better customer service than that. they were snippy and rude. we left without waiting any longer for our entrees, and I of course was hungry, we will not be going to that diner any more. This is not the first bad customer service experience we have had there either

Worst service and food encountered in a long time. Had reservations and watched numerous people seated ahead of us. When we got to the table we waited 25 minutes for drinks, ONLY after we went to the front and complained. Asked for placemats and got none, asked 3x and we were told we could get them but not normally done on a weekend! Are you kidding???? Place our food on a table that was wiped with a cloth that was used numerous times. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Will NEVER go back nor will the 6 people we met.
