I live in Nebraska & wanted Birthday cupcakes to surprise a Dear friend in Anchorage. After reading other reviews, I called Divine Cupcakes & spoke to Natalie. BEST decision EVER!! Natalie was just "Awesome" to deal with. She sent me a text when the cupcakes were delivered & had decorated them beautifully. My friend said they had never tasted anything so heavenly! SO grateful!

OMGoodness! These are the best cupcakes I've ever had and I have had a few! Natalie knows what she's doing. We especially loved the strawberry and fruit-filled cupcakes! If you're in Anchorage, you have to give her a call! Delicious!

My negative review is not on the quality of the cupcakes, it's on the dishonesty of this business owner. I was quoted at $80 for one large cupcake which came with 8 standard sized cupcakes. I had asked if we could do an Oreo flavor for the large cupcake and was told no, the large would only be available in white or chocolate, but the smaller cupcakes could be any flavor. The lady informed me that if the address is on the hillside there is an extra $5 charge added to the $10 delivery fee. I was ok with it, as the address is NOT on the hillside. I gave the lady my card number over the phone and noticed this morning on my bank that I was charged $110... Alaska doesn't have a sales tax. I thought it must be some silly mix up, checked again on the website to verify prices and reached out to the owner. Her response was since I opted for a flavored cupcakes that cost an extra $10 (website says $7... again the big cupcake didn't have ANY extra flavor) and the address isn't on the hillside, but outside of their normal delivery area.. bad experience and I don't recommend doing business with divine gourmet cupcakes, especially without a formal receipt.
