Our son recommended Palmiero. Nice little spot with great ambience. We didn't order appetizers, because there were none on the menu. However, we did order the beverage of the day, which was a cucumber, lemon and ginger drink, it was delicious.
My wife ordered the huevos escondidos and I ordered the shrimp chilaquilles. The food was outstanding, the best chilaquiles I've ever had. Both dishes were delicious, and the presentation was just like the pics on their website.
To top it off, I had a cafe de olla, which is Mexican coffee, delicious. And we ordered the bread pudding and a torta to go.
Overall we give Palmieras a 5+ rating and that's rare for us as we have been to just about every resteraunt in Anchorage. We will be back for sure.
