The food at this place is truly exceptional. It may take a bit longer to prepare, but the homemade flavors are definitely worth the wait. The variety of dishes, from Rasta pasta to curried goat, are all incredibly delicious and authentic.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a co-worker. Food was good, however the menu states two slices of sweet fried plantain is included in the meal. They were out of the plantain but nothing was said or other item offered. Also, our order included three beverages that were paid for but once our order was brought out to us they stated we did not order or pay for any beverages. Unfortunately when the order was placed and paid for a printed receipt was not requested so we could not prove their error. Not sure if I will go back again.

I got scammed. Set up my birthday dinner here and agreed to 25 percent gratuity. I stayed until the end and made sure everything was paid and they said everything was good to go. I call back to get my deposit back and she said they didn't get the the whole 25% tip. I asked how that could be since we checked out at the end and we were told everything was taken care of. Then she said she would check her paper work for the credit card charges but there is no way they can tell how much cash tip they got because they did not clean out the tip jar previously. Now they don't want to give me my deposit back. I told the owner I didnt think this was right and I was told my deposit would be taken of my food total but since I forgot to request it I should get my money back. She refused. Started talking about how she spent $60 on balloons ( that I didn't ask for) and we received items we didn't pay for, and they removed the service fee for credit card use. I told her i didn't need $60 ballons nor did i ask for them so I shouldnt be charged for them and the service fee was not removed and we paid it everytime we placed an order.. She said regardless she was not giving me my deposit back. she then said she could send me a gift card but I couldn't come back to her store after I used it. I agreed to the gift card, and never received it!

Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. The two folks running the show were friendly and attentive. Good luck finding ANY Carribean food in town let alone for less money. Great food great portions

Oxtail got only fat and bone.

Over-priced food that is ok has tasted much better for a lot lower price. Price does not match portion size. But this is Alaska, not much when it comes to good food. Again the food was ok, not worth the price.
