Plaza Bonita underwent recent renovations, both inside and out, giving it a fresh and inviting atmosphere compared to a year or two ago. While my previous experiences with the food were average, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful Tapitan salad we ordered yesterday evening - mine with beef and hers with chicken. The generous portions of well-seasoned meat, combined with a bed of romaine lettuce, black beans, corn, avocado, tomato, and grated carrots, left us almost too full to finish. The attentive service from the waiter, other staff members, and the manager further elevated our dining experience, making Plaza Bonita my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Cottonwood.

Beware of ordering after looking at the menu listed on-line. I ordered the tres amigos which was listed as $13.00 (on-line) and was surprised to find the price had doubled to $25.95. Ridiculous, said "they're remodeling so the prices increased." Quite a substantial increase!!

Oh my gosh the chicken fajita salad is delicious. My husband and brother raved about the burritos. The staff was friendly and kept checking on us. The place is very clean. We will be back.
