Great old school cafe. Rural high mountain decor. Veterans corner of locals who served. Service with a big smile and food worth coming back for. ENJOY!

This is one of my cycle buds and my favorite stops. We've eaten here many times and love the food and service. For those of you with left-leaning political views, i.e., President Trump haters and haters of second amendment/hard working Americans, I would remind you that we are still a free country and Bear Wallow is free to express their views in their own establishment. If you don't like it, there are plenty of places brandishing your political views... eat there! Otherwise, come for the great food and stop trying to ruin great family-owned businesses because of your political views.

Anyone with a shred of decency will be repulsed by the generous helpings of racism and bigotry served here. Forget about enjoying a peaceful meal; you will be assaulted at every turn by the owner’s sick and twisted politics. Above the bathroom entrance hangs a portrait of Barack Obama with the caption, “Lyin’ Africanâ€. Adhered to the side of the cash register is a picture of Chelsea Clinton with the caption, “Make her the ambassador of Libyaâ€. And Donald Trump’s face smiles from beneath the glass at the front counter. But of course. You quickly realize you’ve strayed deep into enemy territory. Boycott this shameful business; it is a vehicle for the hostility and anger Trump supporters thrive on.

Had dinner a few nights ago, worst chicken fried steak I have ever eaten. Been eating here for over 30 years can't believe food so bad.
