The food at De La Cruz is consistently delicious, especially the fajitas and enchiladas. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it a welcoming choice for families.

The food was delicious and plentiful. Their chips and salsa are great. The chips are light and crisp, the salsa is the new gold standard of salsa for the Apache Junction area.

Good food, but be careful of their happy hour specials!
Arrived @ 4:30, happy hour advertised 3-6, draft beer $1.50, but not ALL draft beer and they don't tell you that when ordering. Half price appetizers, but not ALL of them, don't tell you that either! There were two couples, we arrived 15 minutes ahead of the other couple, yet they combined the tickets & charged 20% gratuity! $120.00 later we complained to Sam and he did adjust the bill$20.00, but that did not begin to cover what basically amounted to false advertising charges. We have gone there for years,but feel this was really out of line, told Sam we would not be back.

I ate here a few days ago and have been meaning to write a review for them. I really enjoyed my order and the atmosphere was nice as well. They have a cool little backyard patio deal with an elongated waterfall along the back wall and a fireplace (not real useful during the summer, but I'm sure it's great during the winter at night).
I ordered the fish burros and really enjoyed them. They were a tad bit spicy for me but once I figured out what the pico de gallo was (the green sauce) I was able to work around that and it was great. If you order the fish burros and are a little weak when it comes to spicy things then ask them to leave the pico de gallo sauce out, or serve it on the side. I'm sure they'll oblige. The waiter was very nice and the service was great.

It is so silly that people find the time to brag about their bad experiences any wear not just Delacruz, but they never have the time to brag about the good ones. I know the owner and he would never talk to someone like that. I've bin going there for seven years and they do a great job there!!

Food is usually OK, service is not - it used to be OK but no longer. I calmly mentioned slow/poor service to the waiter (calmly is unusual for me with poor service)(turns out it was the owner). He asked me if I could see they were busy and under staffed - I said it seems to be a management problem not mine. He told me to F&%$ off and take a hike. I did!

The food is good, but skimpy. The service is decent, value is mediocre, atmosphere is nice and simple. There is another Mexican restaurant in Apache Junction, that has quality food and plenty of it. If I had to choose I would go to the other one.
