We had a fantastic meal at the diner in Greer earlier today. The food was delicious, especially the Shrimp Po'boy and bacon cheeseburger, and the service was fast and friendly. We'll definitely be back for more tasty dishes and a great atmosphere.

Best place to eat in Greer. We have been visiting the Rendezvous for well over a decade and we have never been disappointed with the food. Very occasionally the service is spotty, but it has always been friendly. My 92 year old Mom really looks forward to her visits and we are greeted with a warm "welcome back, so nice to see you." Love to see Patricia, the owner and Cliff of the amazing mustache.

Bring your wallet!
The food is good, the service is okay, but the prices are truly amazing. French toast (nothing else but two pieces of bread) if over $9. They must have to carry all the food in by mule train, because they sure charge like it's difficult to restock the pantry. Everything cost MUCH more than it should.

Food was ok just a little pricey. Our server was fine but the hostess there was obviously overwhelmed and rude.
When we did complain to her about one of the meals - she turned nasty. She said that it was too bad she (my daughter) didn't like the food - there was nothing wrong with it - no offer of anything else - just cause quite a scene in front of all the customers in the room.
Asked to complain to the owner - THAT WAS THE OWNER
End result - poor management. obviously overworked yelled at employees struggling to keep an extremely grouchy owner happy with not much luck. Hopefully this was not a typical day there and we just caught the owner on a bad day.
Still.......when I told the family we have in Greer about our experience, they were appalled that this had occurred to us and vowed that they would never go back there either. I think they told all their neighbors about it

We have visited this diner twice. Love the atmosphere, the staff and especially the food. It is a must for all visitors to the area that enjoy a great breakfast or lunch in a beautiful valley.
