I am from Germany and when I stayed 1 night in Seligman I had to visit this place, because of the German flags out there. The room is quite cozy and comfortable. I was greeted with a bored "How can I help you?" as if I was just asking for directions. I sat down and asked if they had any beer. The waitress wanted to see my I.D. I dont look like under 21, actually i am 34, but anyway, law is law. She studied my passport for several minutes and i asked friendly if I could help translating or showing where my birthday is. She coldly ranted "I know that ! I see that !". Then she retrieved a stack of papers and started writing down my name, my passport number and everything ! She said I have to sign this form otherwise I would not get alcohol... Seriously I NEVER had this before in my travels in the US. Showing ID is Okay, but signing something and writing down passport information ?! She insisted and got unfriendly. I was friendy, do not look messy and had plenty of money, so I really wondered what this was all about... Guys, if you want to drink alcohol and are not from the US, DO NOT GO IN THERE ! Go somewhere else in town, where you wont have those problems. I didnt bother the food, so i cannot rate it. December 27th 2008 7pm.
