The last 2 visits we had at AJ's, we ordered to go. We are not planning to visit again. We were disappointed. We we told our food would be ready in 15 minutes. After 25 minutes, (both times) we went to pick up food. Both times either my work partner or I were kept waiting at the bar for 20 more minutes. The orders were for chicken avocado wraps and spinach artichoke dip. The chicken was ok but had no sauce or seasoning, not even salt. The artichoke, spinach dip was 8.00, and was only 2/3 of a cup in the container. We were told they were out of corn chips so they gave us some cut up soggy bread to dip in place of the chips.
This neighborhood bar and restaurant has great potential but recently management has begun to deteriorate. We don't mind good old bar food but expect to be treated with respect and and courtesy. AJ's needs to up the individual attention and raise the standards a bit. I don't want to see them lose their business.
