Had the best fish and chips ever. Real Cod, great steak fry's, super slaw AND great service.
Can't say enough about my experienceðŸ‘

Another refurbished effort, finally got carpet on the floors, helps cut down the noise.
BUT food prices are high, the food was mediocre at best, got charged extra for paying with a credit card. The only decent thing was the waitress who did a good job checking on us. HSV wants to know why villagers don't patronize a lot of the newer eating places... prices are high, food is not that good. Places like El Jimador, Debras, etc that have been here for a long time seem to understand that you can get good food at fair prices and good service. These newer people don't quite seem to grasp that concept. I would rather drive outside the Village up to Home Plate (which has been around a long, long time) and yet they seem to be doing quite well. Food is very good, service is very good, and the prices are decent, but compared to a lot of places inside the Village, HP food is priced extremely fair. We won't return to The Desoto Club
