Went there on a Saturday late afternoon. The view is amazing, we sat at a table by the windows and really enjoyed watching birds at the feeders as well as boaters on the river. But the server was so unfriendly and condescending, it was very irritating.
We were served drinks and he never came back to the table till he brought the food. He put plates on the table, said nothing and left and didn't come back. Our drinks were never refilled, there were 6 empty glasses on our table when he brought the check. No asking if everything was ok, In fact no interest at all if we enjoyed the meal. Of course too late to ask if we needed anything, but he didn't ask anyway. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced at any food place, especially the pricer ones. He was horrible. But entirely different with the party 2 tables away. He was chatting and laughing and REFILLING GLASSES. His name is Christian
but he certainly didn't live up to his name. I was a guest, so wasn't responsible for the tip, but if I had been , he would not have gotten even a penny tip
from me. Terrible service! If my choice, I will never go back there! By the way the prices are ridiculously
high!

Amazingly disappointing. Only THREE servers for the restaurant (30+ tables). Limited reservations, poor slow service at 7 p.m. dinner?? They were unable to give us a table with a view when 20 tables were EMPTY the whole time !! The server was inattentive and delivered the WRONG food. We were so over it by then and decided to eat and get out ASAP. We are local residents and were taking friends for a special experience. NEVER AGAIN !!

I Think that all of the out of date reviews should be taken off. There are new owners and a great new chef. The 2014 and 2015 doesn't even enter in on how great the restaurant is now. Please post about how wonderful the food is since there is a wonderful chef now in the kitchen. Key Lime Pie is outstanding.

Went there on a Sunday and at the buffet they had eggs Benedict but no scrambled eggs . When we ordered them, they said they would bring them to our table . 45 minutes later we finished our breakfast without the eggs. Some breakfast.. When I complained that we never got our eggs they just ignored us and the food manager never called us to apologize. Very , very unprofessional. They had good service at one time But Jim Gaston does not know what is going on.

Very expensive considering its all frozen entrees off the Sysco truck that was parked in the parking lot. View was wonderful. Salad bar was quite good but the entrees were pretty pathetic. If you're willing to pay for the White River view, then go but keep your food expectations low.
