I've had ribs all over but these were exceptional-tender and smoky. The service was friendly, and the portions were generous, making it a memorable meal!

We have been going to Joes for 22 years. Started in the old Rogers location. They have catered for us several times over the years. One thing is always consistent-excellent food! Folks if you are looking for top notch barbecue, this is your restaurant! All the comments about the decor just show how people have no sense of humor. Laugh or don't laugh. But don't downgrade the food quality! The way the meat is smoked is expert. (I know a little about barbecue being a native Texan and this would compete anywhere!!) Oh, if you leave hungry, it is your fault!! The combo plates are enough food for 2 people. We like to split the 3 meat platter. The stuffed baked potato is another great choice. The barbecue nachos are heavenly! We live in Fort Smith now, but take every chance we can get to come and eat at Smokin Joes!!

Got a take out rib dinner to eat at home. The spare ribs were tough and overly chewy. It appeared that the membrane was not removed before smoking.
I've eaten at Smokin Joe's several times and never had a problem with the meals. This will be the first and last rib dinner for me. Potato salad was excellent. The coleslaw not so good.

I was there Saturday August the 8th. The food was awesome and hot as usual. I have brought family here several times and I have ate here by myself.
The reason I gave it 4 STARS. Our server was uninterested in serving us. There were 8-10 people seated. It appeared 3 servers plus the hostess out front. The hostess seated us promptly. A few minutes went by and the hostess seated another couple of people. Still no recognition from a server, Although two servers had walked to a table behind us. I have waited tables and thought maybe there was a mix up of who our server was. I asked the hostess if we had a server? She reply yes and took our drink and our food order. Than she got our server, who gave no apology and who was also one of the two women standing behind our table to begin with. She really seemed like she was not trained in the art of being a good server. We felt she rather be somewhere else and she basically looked right through us.. I thought maybe her shift was ending.. I like to give people the benefit of a doubt, but the young lady may seek a different line of employment.

Have been going to Smokin Joes for years! Old building and new place. Always good food and pleasant servers. Kansas City friends love their BBQ!

I am sharing this because my wife and i always loved smokin joes but when went in for lunch yesterday. And we both order burgers with fries and the burgers were so so dry and had no flavor at all. It wasn't the same when you guys was in the old building. The fries were a little hard to chew. And to be honest it will be all long time before we come back to your new place.

I've never been dissapointed with their ribs, burgers or chicken. My favorites are the rice/beans, baked beans, potato salad and pulled pork.
Still one of my favorites after 15 years!
