I was told about Spice island Caribbean restaurant from a friend. He said it was good, but "wow''. Their "Stewed chicken"{along with peas and rice with seaasoned steamed vegetables)was absolutely amazing, Their "jerked chicken" was very delicious and the meat just melted off the bone.I was told by the owner(who is also Head Chef) that the jerked chicken is prepared the old fashion way-"Seasoned overnight and slow cooked over a coal stove". Good vibes, Great prices for excellent food.
