Raised in Bakersfield , now living in Kansas City,Mo. I have eat in all different places. But I tell you know NO ONE can make a Cheese Burger like them, No One can come close to my Favorite Pastrami Sand-which ! It's they they way they fix it, they boil the meat half day, they toasted that BUN just right . Slap some mustard on it and a few pickle, pile that Pastrami on , Slap the other side of the Bun...Roll it up, stick a hot pepper to it/side of Fries! Large Dr. Pepper or Your Favorite Drink! Best In Town! My Parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McGee stared taking me there when I was only 4 or 5 yrs old. Have Fond memories of this place and Everyone that worked there. The Owner She was friendly, Love this place. Now 52 yrs old, Every-time I come Home That's the first place my Children and I Hit. After visiting with Family there. We Just Have To Stop and Get one More BITE On the Way Out of Bakersfield. Thanks for the Good Food and Memories of Days Gone By. Try It! There's No Place Like Jolly Cone!
