Lam's is an North-East Bakersfield must have. The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly.

Best Chinese food in Bakersfield!! I've been eating here 30 years and have never had a bad meal!

Take out was terrible. By the time I got home, food was barely warm- 5 min. King pao chicken was fatty and lacked spice. Meat in broccoli beef tasted bad and was pale. Orange chicken was old. Fried rice was lumpy. Food tasted old. Worst $52 spent on take out.

My family has been eating from Lam's for years. The Bbq pork fried rice and the BBq pork Lo mein are a must try. I also recommend the chicken with snow peas. We usually order deliverly which is always pretty quick and food is hot. Price wise I don't think they're much different then any other chinese restaurant in town these days.
