Top Reviews of Sticky Rice

Sticky Rice is a fantastic spot with a cool vibe and delicious food. The menu has a good selection of drinks and affordable sushi dishes, along with must-try Balmer Balls. I've been a regular for years and have always been impressed with the service and quality of food. The abundance of veggie options, including the creamy coconut peanut tofu and sesame bowl, make it a great choice for all diets.

This place has solid sushi that is always fresh. The chefs know what they're doing, and the staff is friendly and efficient. I wouldn't necessarily stray from the sushi menu too much. There are, however, two exceptions to this rule: The Bucket of Tots and the Jalapeno Poppers. The tots come in a giant tin bucket with a special spicy mayo, and the poppers are not your typical TGI Fridays type poppers. They are fresh jalapenos cut in half, stuffed with tuna and cream cheese, tempura fried, and then drizzled with some sort of sauce similar to an eel sauce. I would literally frequent this establishment for this appetizer alone.
On a non-food related note, the bar is open until 2AM and is a lot of fun to hang out at. They have a lot of cool weekly events, the highlight of which is probably Blingo on Thursday nights. Blingo is a free sped up bingo with crazy prizes and even crazier tie-breaker challenges.
Overall, the sushi and appetizers are worth coming for, and the late night bar atmosphere is worth staying around for.
