At 7:30 am Tuesday, I was one of two customers purchasing a take-out of bagels. There were three employees behind the counter, one making special orders or take-out for drive-through. Service was miserable. The young man did not acknowledge us with a greeting or even a nod. After he put our bagels in a bag and took it to the register - he left it there - asked us for payment - after we paid we had to ask if that was our bag of bagels. He was "sullen" and behaved as if he was doing us, the customer, a favor.

With unemployment as it is, one would think this young man would be thankful and happy to be employed!
