Muhly's offers the finest cakes I've encountered, surpassing any other bakery I've tried. The challenge of finding a simple chocolate cake or a delicious coconut or pound cake is real, but Muhly's masters them all, plus a variety of others that are equally tempting. Whenever I'm in Baltimore for medical appointments or other errands, a visit to Lexington Market for their cakes is an absolute must.
