As a lifelong Houstonian and seasoned barista, I was initially deterred by some negative reviews, but I'm grateful I ventured in. The welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delectable pastries made it an inviting space to tackle my schoolwork, while the king cakes and unique treats tempted me to return again and again.

Being a Houston native and coffee enthusiast, I almost let the negative reviews deter me from visiting Rao's bakery. However, upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and quickly found a cozy corner to settle in. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the overall ambiance felt inviting and homely. Despite some minor imperfections, the experience was enjoyable, and I left satisfied with a delicious pastry and coffee in hand.

I love Rao's and get their desserts often but today I had not only a hair in my sandwich, but also paper from what I assume the turkey was wrapped in. A little disappointed with the service today, hopeful it goes better next time.
