The food here is consistently delicious, especially the salt and pepper wings, and the service is always friendly and efficient. I drive from Houston just to enjoy the amazing seafood and have never been disappointed with my meals.

Great food and excellent service are what you'll find at John's, a cozy neighborhood spot on the corner of 4th and Washington. The staff, always friendly and ready to answer any questions, make you feel right at home whether you choose to dine in or take your order to go. The salt and pepper wings with rice are a must-try, along with the catfish strips and messy fries that leave you feeling satisfied and coming back for more.

These people have been in our neighborhood for forty years or more. We are the reason for the businesses that they have.wake up my people,They are buying cornis hen wings serving them for buffalo wings when I called them she said that's what they brought us.well if they brought you rotten eggs will they use them in the fried rice?Do they care what they are serving your loyal customers.🤮🤮🤮

If you are in Beaumont Texas and absolutely want the BEST fried catfish or shrimp. Trust me this is the place to go. It's not a sit down restaurant really, but they do have a few tables. Most people place or call in their order and pick it up to go.

Take it from a 100% Cajun boy who was raised on the best fried catfish and shrimp in the world, this is as close to how my Cajun family cooks catfish and shrimp as you can get. Also, the catfish fillets are HUGE and not over fried at all.

A true treasure in Beaumont that probably most people would never know about or even consider going to.
