great service and good food

We took a chance on this place because of the prices list on the web. The actual prices are more than listed. The food tasted ok, the waitress was nice and attentive. Other than that, the rest was a dismal experience. The wife's order was wrong when it arrived at the table. Instead of quickly correcting their mistake, they placed her order at the end of the line and she was done with the first half of her meal and waiting for the second half for a while. When mentioned that they should have a policy that puts those customers first, the waitress stated that the owner was quirky at best and gets pissed when you don't accept their mistake. To top it off, both my wife and i became ill about an hour after eating and stayed that way all night long. Not the way i wanted to spend date night with the wife. I will not be back. I could almost deal with the incompetence because that's just the day and age we live in, but serving old sushi and giving us a bug is unforgivable.

Very very good sushi and a very reasonable price. A lot better than having to drive down to Beaumont for some sushi, and they have very big rolls of sushi. I am always wayyyyy to full when I come her😂 I love this place.

The sushi is okay. If you like sushi rolls, you may like it a bit more than those who like nigiri style sushi (the fish over rice). The grade of the fish is very low which isn't as much an issue with rolls and the cuts are not consistent. You may get a thick cut of fish one day and the next be able to read a paper through the fish. Sometimes they don't even put the correct number of pieces on the plate. The rice is unseasoned as well. A bit of rice vinegar would make the rice so much nicer.

Very fine Sushi in Lumberton. My body could easily overload on this sushi if I didn't stop myself.

I ate a Kotoyama's for the first time in Lumberton and it was so good. The portions were large, the price was reasonable and the service was great. They also have take out which I want to try. I most of all loved the hibachi teriyaki chicken. It's a place you can bring your family no matter what their age is.

Boycotting this place! Today and on duty EMS crew went in there to eat, paid for their food but got a call before they got their food. Came back 2 hours later and not only had they thrown their food away, they were told that they would have to pay again to get something to eat!!! This is how they treat their local 911 providers… shame, shame. EWon't get another penny of my money!!!

I had high hopes so I did not have to drive to Beaumont to get great food. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I hate to talk bad about this place but I couldn't even eat it. I would rather eat a Chinese buffet than go to this place again. I wish it would have been good so I didn't have to go out of my way. If I had to describe it in word it would be...yuck!

I love this place! The food is excellent. I especially love the fillet and shrimp! I am not a big sushi eater, but have to admit I do like the sushi here! I will definitely be eater here again and again!

The Sushi is good here. I eat here at least once a month and I'm happy with the food and service.

I don't know who this Jenn chick is but there must be sumthin wrong with her head! Whenever I end up eating in lumberton I have 2 eat here. Although a little high priced the food is amazing and never had a problem with the service. Jenn, don't hate because anything in ur kitchen will never be as good as their food.

Gross....Will never waste another dime at this disgusting place. I would've sworn my been feachicken was pork had there not thers cooked on it. Couldn't finish my food for the feathers which the manager said was ginger. Where I'm from ginger doesn't grow on chickens. And they must think their customers are dumb because we ordered tenderloin and was given tough chewy sirloin. There is no comparison. The staff refuses to accept responsibility to any mistake. High prices low quality food.
