We stopped by on our way to Peoria and tried the cheeseburger chowder soup, which was quite good. While the reuben sandwich I had was just okay, my husband enjoyed his chicken salad sandwich. The coconut cream pie was fresh and wonderful, but the pricing was a bit high for the area. The service was great, the ambiance was comfortable, and the food overall was good and reasonably priced.

Just good comfort food. Gotta love their homemade sausage gravy. My personal favorite is Buffalo Chix Salad. My lunch buddy always get the blueplate specials.
