After trying various restaurants for delivery orders, the Golden Star restaurant pleasantly surprised me with their hot and delicious meal, efficient service, and welcoming staff, making it a new favorite spot for my family's Christmas Day tradition and future visits.

Golden Star has been producing consistently delicious food for over 30 years. It says a lot about a place that it's been operating for so long and is still doing good business. True, the restaurant is older, but it's always clean, and the service is great! Give them a try!

Have been eating at the Star forever. It is absolutely the best Chinese food I have had in my life and I am 70 years old now. I no longer live in the Boise area, but when I return for one reason for another, I make it a point to go to the Star every day I am there. Try it and you will love it too.

Been eating at the Golden Star for 30 plus years and have never had a bad meal. Service and food is always excellent.

Food has declined over the years as well as portions. No consistency in food taste from order to order. The decor is still dated and dark. After all these years,they haven't fixed the door threshold that trips people going in. Take out orders are correct about 3/4 of the time. The other 1/4 you will be shorted or get something you didn't order. Be sure to check what you get before leaving.

We love Golden Star. It is the only Chinese food we will eat. We have tried others, but always return to Golden Star. We especially love the Special Fried Rice in dinner #6. Thank you

I've been eating at Golden Star for 20+ years. This is some of the best Chinese food in the valley, and the service has always been great.
