This joint is a total dive, but Gary, the owner and server, is a total legend. He knows everyone and has stories for days. It's not some uppity place to show off about pool or be a snob - it's where you make real connections, meet genuine people, and actually have conversations. You can chat up anyone and make a new friend - no fake people trying to get tips here. It's been around since '45, and the vibe is all about listening, being heard, and having a good time. Give it a try if you're up for a change from the usual scene and appreciate a place where real connections are made.
