AMAZING, in a word. Great food, wonderful staff, and the most beautiful setting in Boulder. After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical, BUT the Red Lion's friendly staff and tasty food has made me a customer for life!

I recently visited here for the first time last weekend (CU Graduation) and my experience was horrible! The food was OK nothing too exciting but the problem with with the wait staff. A loud group nearby our table was loudly celebrating which is one thing- what went wrong was when the wait staff joined in....even having a napkin fight in the middle of the dining room! Our server felt badly and tried to stop it- didn't work. Their waiter actually stopped our meal to congratulate a dinner on graduating (um a student at every table there had graduated). If I'm paying $30 for a meal I expect not to be in such a horrible ill run environment.

I took my wife out to the Red Lion for weekly date and have gone to the flag staff, Frasca and the Boulder cork, but the Red Lion was amazing. The food was out standing as well as the service. If you ever have a question, about wine Jim Glade is the man to ask about wine. Thank you for making our night so special
