The lodge on Vancouver Island is like a magical escape from another world, with immaculate grounds and breathtaking oceanfront views that make you want to stay forever. Our stay was filled with spacious rooms, delicious meals, and friendly staff, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that left us feeling relaxed and content.

Pre paid a 3 day vacation including all meals. What a joke!! breakfast was 1 hard boiled egg, 1 muffin, 1 banana, one apple juice and coffee. Not even a toaster . Quite the continental breakfast! Lunch....there was no lunch. None...even tho prepaid for 3 of them. Poor kitchen staff was overwhelmed at supper even tho the hotel must have had some idea of the number of persons staying at the hotel might just show up for there pre paid meals. Two waitresses who did there best, and 2 kitchen staff. Orders, when they arrived, were helter skelter, cold, and not as ordered. have stayed there three times in the past and have noticed a steady decline in Painters Lodge especially over the last five years. Beautiful setting, grounds well kept, rooms clean, but very dated now and much overpriced. Much better value nearby!!!
