I've lived on the Coast for 20 yrs. Before Covid, whenever my friend from Vancouver came over, I'd pick her up at the ferry and we'd have brkfst. at Molly's. According to the website they were now open every day starting at 8:00 a.m. So on Feb 17 we went there, but no, they didn't open till 11:00. At 11:00 we went in and ordered brkfst. Five minutes later server comes back and says no, we can't have brkfst. because they serve lunch starting at 11:00. We said, we'll have the chowder. No, they didn't have chowder today. We're two seniors, light eaters, we asked if we could order the kid's size hamburger and fries ($12.) Later, when the bill arrived we had been charged a $20. "adult up-charge" fee for ordering from the kid's menu. Server had said nothing about that. I think it is devious and unethical.

Came to Molly's as we had heard so much about this place, has so much history but I must say that after going for breakfast we where told that they where not serving breakfast at that time so that was fine we then looked at the menu to find something else. The menu is small and that is great but then they would not serve soup even though there where 3 options. So that is also something that one can ignore but when we wanted to order the mac and cheese from the kids menu as they did not have this on the option for adults. Which can also be fine but in order to have this there was a 5 dollar up charge. This of course was questioned but tryed to understand that maybe that meant that the portion would be larger not to be the case. When it arrived it was a small bowl and only half full. Not money well spent so spending 11 dollars for a childs meal and then add another 5 dollars for a half small bowl of mac and cheese

I asked for a grilled cheese with no bacon. After a few minutes, I had a grilled cheese WITH bacon. I asked to keep the French fries. They threw the French fries away. Terrible service
