We are Albertans here for a few weeks. We have been to Papa's Firehall restaurant 3 times. Every time we have had excellent service, great food and a good time. Tonight Kari was so sweet with my Mom (94 years old), and was so accommodating to us. Tonight almost every table was reserved because of an event in town, but she found a great spot for us and was so nice to us. I recommend this place to anyone coming to Oliver!

Have not been back as of summer ( very good then) and I was not very happy about the service .It was very rushed and at the end the server just slammed our bill down .A Thankyou would have been nice .The food was slapped together and one plate burnt .Not at all what I expected .In the summer service and food was very very good.It could have been that they where short staffed ,on the floor and in the kitchen .It’s a shame .Will think twice before returning .The place has a lot of potential if there would be better oversight of day to day oporation.Thankyou for listening

We ordered food to go for 5 people . A total of $87.00 for the entres alone! We noticed right away that all the vegetables served with the roast beef dinners were raw. Although the meat was very tasty it was a great disappointment to struggle with raw carrots and zucchini on the same plate. Not going back.
