I was in the other evening to pick up my telephone order. I ordered 1 piece cod, 2 piece cod. My hubby was driving when I placed the order. I arrive to 1 piece salmon, 2 piece cod. Huge language barrier with Maggie and she refused to back down as it was already made. I wanted to walk out but she insisted I pay for my order and take it. All as I wanted was the 1 piece and 2 piece cod that I ordered. She hands me my food and says she gave me extra fries. WHO CARES. Every year we come and camp here and order Maggie's. This was our fourth time ordering. I will never step foot in that restaurant again and she made me pay the higher price for the salmon. Any other restaurant would have fixed the order.

The best fish and chips in Nanaimo. Huge portions. Not greasy at all. Must try.

Have to rave about Maggie's Seafood Market | Fish & Chips Eatery. Best fish and chips we have had in a long time. Wife found a review online for them and we had a hankering for some good fish and chips. Gave them a try tonight and were very impressed. Had the Cod with their home made chips, house made tartar sauce and coleslaw. Good size pieces of fish with a nice light batter. not oily at all. They are now going to be our go to place for fish. Going to try some of their other menu items as well. It all looks good.
