The food and service at the new restaurant are solid, though the parking situation is just "meh." I'll truly miss this place - it's been the backdrop for countless family memories, the only spot my dad would dine at in his later years. The classic Brooklyn vibes, generous portions, and friendly staff have kept us coming back for 45+ years - plus, their split pea soup with extra croutons is a must-try!
