The aroma of freshly baked sweet bread filled the air as I entered the bakery. I indulged in the semita de aní­s, but found the chicken tamales to be undercooked. Despite this, the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the small town bakery in The Valley made the experience enjoyable. The selection of freshly made items was impressive, although arriving early is recommended to ensure availability.
