The food exceeded my expectations, particularly the savory Wonton Soup with generous portions of wontons and green onions. The Spicy Noodles with Pork Sauce had a good amount of spice and a satisfying chew, despite the presence of peas, which weren't to my liking. The service was efficient, although some may find the direct approach of the staff different from traditional American service.

They have authentic Chinese dishes, and all you need is just ask them. Preparation is closets to tradition Chinese as it gets and everything is fresh. Beef was tender and high quality. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Chinese food.

I travel to Toronto and New York City often and I can tell you the flavor profile the new owners brought are WAYY better than the old owners. Old owners, sauce was liquidity and just drip off the meats and vegetables. The new owners brings in sauce with better consistency and in depth flavor. The quality has improved tremendously with the new owners and that's much appreciated. Must try their Mu Shu Pork, Hot sour soup......try everything and you'll be satisfied.

Just happened to past by on a Sunday night and there were few diners among us. The dinning room is small but the overall lighting, background music, and display is simple and delicate. Me and my two friends decided to try their dumplings and it was delicious. The outer skin was crispy and soft, the sauce had a kick to it. The Crab Rangue was the best I've tasted. I had the Orange Chicken and my friends had the Hunan Chicken. The Orange Chicken was crispy and tender. The orange sauce was something I've never had in other Chinese restaurants and it was purely gold. Overall a 5 star and the service was terrific. Definitely recommend Ginger and Garlic to anyone wanting to try great Chinese. And have been living in Toronto and New York City Chinatowns, this place comes close to matching those authentic flavors.
