While visiting from Canada, my companions and I were in search of a quick Chinese dining option. The food we received at China Express was flavorful and prepared with fresh ingredients. The portions were generous, and we appreciated the quick and friendly service provided at the clean establishment. Overall, I would rate this Vermont take-out Chinese restaurant 5 out of 5 for its affordability and satisfying dishes.

From the outside China Express on Shelburne Rd. looks unappealing. If you can get past the abandoned auto's resting in the parking lot (I kid you not) and the rundown look of the building, the food is actually good. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable for take-out, and this location trumps it's namesake on North St. in taste and speed of preperation.

Pretty safe for Chinese in Burlington. Food is good, hot, and plenty of it. Delivery costs extra.
