I had a late lunch here on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful burger and soups. The service was really nice, and even though it can get busy, I can't wait to go back for those amazing potato skins and try more of the menu.

This restaurant blew me away with its incredible flavors and generous portions, especially the potato skins and crispy chicken alfredo. The service was friendly and attentive, making for an enjoyable experience that I can't wait to repeat soon.

Local that has been going there since I worked at windjammer 35 years ago and upon returning to area after a couple of years, what a disappointment. The owners I knew would clean house. Ignored, slow service and bartenders/wait staff rude. If your food doesn't compete with the local market, your staff should. Last time I was there, I just walked out after waiting ( at the bar!) for 40 minutes to order food while bartender took food orders at most of the tables.

The worst NY Strip steak I have ever tasted. Tough as leather on the outside, no taste and tough on the inside. I think it was microwaved. My wifes Tuna came out cold...
Poor quality, worse atmosphere, your money well spent on other local places.

Salad wilted, ribs served cold, steak very tough...waitress was a slob and idiot, go to Macdonalds for better food and service.

We went there Sunday evening for the first time in years. The food was tasty, and plentiful, and we had great service. Our server was Ebbie who was right on the ball and very pleasant. We will be going back from time to time.

For my birthday, I wanted to have Prime Rib, I was told by a few people that this place had the best Prime Rib, I had never been here before, but I decided to try it, my mom took me, my husband and daughter for dinner last night.
First let me say the positive feedback the Prime Rib was delicious and a very kind man was able to help us out during our frustrating visit there.
The service was absolutely terrible, I believe the waitress we had was fairly new, but she should not have been allowed to be on her own, she made so many mistakes with our table. When my mother ordered her salad and asked about the dressings her comment to my 86 year old mom was "Do you actually want me to repeat all the dressings we have?" From the time she brought us our soup or salads we never saw her again for at least 1/2 hour, the restaurant was not busy either, it was 7:30P on a Tuesday night. Let's just say everything went downhill from the time we ordered and we were finally able to get a man to help us.
One more thing, towards the end of the meal, when my mom was still eating, she game over and asked us if we wanted dessert? We said no and she quickly came back with the bill. As I said my mom was still eating...how rude!!
We will never go back to this restaurant again and it was a very disappointing "Birthday Celebration" and a waste of $100.00 plus tip.

My brother and I took our mother out for Mother's day on Sunday. My mother and I both ordered Bake Scrod. By the time it came, it was warm and was also bland. My brother ordered french fries with his meal and was given a baked potato. The last time I went the baked scrod was excellent.

Went there before the restaurant bunt down. The food and service was fantastic. So when it was rebuilt. I was eager to try it again.
WOW WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The server was only in tested in her TIP! As for the food. I ordered stuff mushroom. Never got them. When the food arrived it took 1 hour. Ordered a draft beer. Took half an hour before it arrived.
They blamed the computer for the back up. Sorry they have to do better than that. Sorry they went so far down hill. VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!!!
Maybe it's greed. Maybe whoever owns it needs to sell and find a person who can bring in back!

Food was good but service was atrocious. We waited 45 minutes for our food, the waitress never asked if we needed a coffee refill, and she dropped a pickle off my plate when she served the food. We 're not going back.

Based on the five stars, I would skip the reviews. We ordered take out. The salad was a little wilted. The chicken was pretty dry. Price was a lot for what we had. Skip this place.

I never give a 10 review. But you need to try this restaurant. I stayed at a local hotel 2 years ago and found the rotisserie by accident. A great find. Went back last year and it had a fire. Felt very sad. Heard it was about to be rebuilt. Planning a stay in 2009 and will eat there every day.

My husband & I love this restaurant. They have the best prime ribs & they don't cheat you on the sizes because believe me husband would notice it. I also love their lunches & due to food sensitivity, I can have only certain breads & rolls & they have them.

Had a rack of ribs. Cooked to perfection (at least to my yankee palette). Waitress was attentive and friendly. Portions were HUGE! What a deal. Cozy wooden hunting lodge/homey atmosphere. And good drink prices too. Highly recommended.
