Whenever I'm in Burlington, I make sure to swing by the tavern for a bowl of chili to warm up on a cold day - especially when it's served on top of crispy fries. The Reuben sandwich with thinly sliced corned beef was a standout, and the friendly service made the experience even better.

I have been to the Church Street Tavern many times as I work in downtown Burlington, and I love it. I really like their food and LOVE their sweet potato fries. I will admit occasionally the service is a little slow, but I can go here for my lunch break without a problem.

I have never had worse service, food, or atmosphere as at this Tavern. I waited over an hour for terrible food...they happened to be out of Chicken that day and so I had to improvise to begin with. The waitress was rude, slow and ineffeicient. I will never eat there or even have a drink there again.

This place was awful, and that's an understatement. I had to wait beside a cold door for over 30 min while the waitress walked around us to seat groups that were the same size as us (2). Then when we were seated there was a misunderstanding, and the waitress sat us instead of another group that came in after us, without a reservation. This place is a sorry place to go for dinner or lunch. I will never ever go here again.

Done a lot of pub sitting in my day; this place is one of my favorites. Awesome athmosphere- TV's for sporting events-tall tables and a great outside seating option in the summer. Tons of great brews at the tavern as well. The service is excellent. Most waitresses have been there for years and know their job well (cute too). Rarely wait for a beer and food is prompt and consistent. Great people watching all year long.
