The food at Hanabi is excellent, with generous portions and a great price point, complemented by friendly service and a cozy ambiance that makes it a favorite spot for me in the High Desert.

I was so excited to know there was another Japanese restaurant up here. The girl answering the
Phone said they didn't have chow mein or stuff like that.. Duh! That should have told me not to go there. The worst food and service ever! Your tempura was greasy and cold. The miso soup had no flavor and i counted 2 pieces of Tofu. We had to flag down the waitress for everything, she didn't even come by for the check. But on the good side (just kidding) we did learn that the waitress claimed more than once, she isn't an alcoholic to the 2 other employees in the front dining room. Good for her! $65 for a meal we even threw away the leftovers.
