most authentic, yummy Mexican food at a reasonable price within at least 100 miles. I go there every Thursday for their special $1.75 crispy tacos. excellent frijoles. fun staff!

I live in Phelan and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Always cheerful on the phone and in person.

Restaurant phone has been out for a few weeks, so there is no way to check on things or ask about an item or place an order like now we would like 30 chicken tacos but the phone is still out of service, how can they run a business that way.

Bypassed this restaurant many times until I stopped one day. The service was very good and I thought the food was exceptional. There are several Mexican restaurants in this little area. El Patron easily stands with what most people think is the best of them and may just out shine all the rest. Small quaint and hospitable with very good Mexican food.
