I discovered an amazing restaurant that completely exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, making it a memorable dining experience.

The worst customer service. I was charged 20% automatically without being told until my check cleared. We were a party of 4. I inquired about this practice and was told it was the first thing in the menu. Actually it's the last thing on the menu at the bottom and said 4+. I called and the manager/owner Maria which is shocking that someone who owns a business would communicate so rudely. She wouldn't let me speak and kept talking over me aggressively. She didn't want to give me her name because she said I made her feel uncomfortable, but could not tell me how. I really don't think she was the manager. A policy that charges 20% on a ticket of four or more people should be communicated upon arrival. This restaurant is more interested in the bottom line more than there reputation, service, and really even the food. I will not be spending my money there. Wish there was something less than one star. Don't think that new restaurant in Carmel they want to open would accept that kind of customer service but I guess it's ok for them to do to the community of Salinas. It will be interesting to see if they charge 20% in Carmel for a party of 4???
